All Gone: Nike Air Max 90 QS ‘Viotech’

Posted on Aug 29, 2019 in Nike

Last weekend, Commonwealth released the Air Max 90 QS ‘Viotech 2.0’. While the 2.0 exudes the essence of the famous colorway, Nike Sportswear and Sole Academy surprised us with the release of a closer rendition to the original of the ‘Viotech’.

Sole Academy dropped the Air Max 90 ‘Viotech’ via their online store at midnight (so technically, this post is irrelevant, but some silhouettes still need to get their shine) and sold out with the quickness. As mentioned, this iteration of the ‘Viotech’ is much closer to the Viotech colorway popularized by the Dunk that dropped back in the early 2000s. While the shoe does feature such an array of bold colors across the sneaker, the ‘Viotech’ name was taken from the striking purple hue seen on the shoe’s upper and outsole (back in the day, most sneaker nicknames were really just drawn from the shoe’s colorway). We’ve seen Nike use the colorway across several other silhouettes before, but this is one of the better ones Nike has done over the last few years.

The Nike Air Max 90 QS ‘Viotech’ retails for Php 7,195 and dropped by Sole Academy’s webstore. We’ve yet to get confirmation for a release across other retailers but keep it locked here for more information.
