Growing up, I was one of the few who admired the Air Jordans from afar. It was way over my sneaker budget and whenever the opportunity presented itself , I always felt the mids never worked well with my calves. But that one summer in ’96 made me believe that there was finally an Air Jordan that would work– the Air Jordan XI IE Low. This was one of the first low tops to come out from the Jordan line and just like its patent-leather big brother, the IE is up there as one of the best Jordans ever made.

This weekend, Jordan Brand is releasing an all-new colorway for the IE Low. Done with a tumble leather/suede obsidian upper, the Air Jordan XI IE Low attracts an entirely new fan base that may not have been sold on MJ’s Chicago-heavy colors. The new color update for the IE drops this Saturday, July 29th at Titan. Make sure to follow them for price, store info and release mechanics.
