Jordan Brand‘s been on a roll with their passion projects. PEs rarely come into production as they were meant to be ‘player exclusives’. Ofcourse, back then, PEs weren’t really a thing. 1993 was the year MJ wore the Air Jordan VIII. During a home game that season, he was supposed to wear an alternate white, black and red version of the home whites. It’s now 2017 and JB gives us a taste of that silhouette that MJ was supposed to wear. Leaving out the grey hues and replacing with them with black are seen on the Air Jordan VIII Retro ‘Alternate’. An embroidered 1993 is seen on the heel tab as a reminder of that date. The shoe drops today, February 25, at all Titan stores, retailing for Php 9,445.
