Two weekends ago, Converse had their inaugural City Carnage Skateboarding Competition China and Asia Pacific Finals in Shanghai, China. The comp was held at the SMP Skate Park, one of the largest skate parks in the world today.

At the City Carnage China Final on Saturday 16 June, the Converse China skater Li Zhi Xing took first place and proceeded to the next day’s Asia Pacific Final, along with the other top five Chinese riders. A Bank-to-Ledge Jam and the City Carnage Asia Pacific Final were held on Sunday 17 June. Dan Leung won first prize in the Bank-to-Ledge Jam with a beautiful Kickflip Frontside Crooked Grind. For the Asia Pacific Final, 16 qualified competitors from 6 countries competed for the weekend’s ultimate honor. Geng Jakkarin from Thailand took home First Place and the top prize of US$6,000.
