Reebok released another set of runners using the ZigTech technology, the ZigActivate. The shoe uses pretty much the same materials found on previous ZigTech runners- ZigTech soles for responsive cushioning, carbon rubber heel strike for durable traction, synthetic upper for a better fit, comfort, and breathability. The only thing that sets this apart from previous [...]

Here’s a pair I picked up a couple of weeks back during the Reebok RealFlex launch. The RealFlex Optimal is their running silhouette. Compared to the training pair, these have more individiual flex nodes and the shoe is cut slimmer, much like a traditional running shoe. The training version has less nodes and runs along [...]

I’ve featured Reebok’s latest technology, RealFlex here before. But to better tell the whole design story for Reebok, hear it from Bill McInnis, Reebok’s Head of Advanced Innovation (also the man behind ZigTech). More on Reebok RealFlex in the coming days.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted something I picked up. Reebok hooked me up with their latest tech, RealFlex, with the RealFlex Transition. For those not familiar, the RealFlex tech is based on the natural movement of the foot. You can say this is their foray into barefoot running (but not quite). What I [...]

Reebok Philippines release the third colorway of the Kamikaze III in the RBK Classics era headed by Swizz Beatz as Creative Director. Although the first two colorways created the much needed traction for the brand, this Teal/Black-Red-White number definitely resembles a Seattle Mariner-esque colorway. Although the obvious Kamikaze connection would be Kemp (who actually wore [...]

With all the releases from Reebok the past month that’s cop-worthy (Swizz Beatz Kamikaze, Basquiat Pumps, John Wall Zigs, Ventilators), I’d be surprised if you didn’t see their latest technology on their trainers. The Reebok RealFlex line is now available at Reebok stores and retailers. I’ve actually talked about the tech a few months back [...]

If you weren’t feeling the ZigSlash or the Zig Encore for hoops, you might want to try out the ZigFury. The shoe uses a good mix of synthetic leather and mesh for proper construction and breathability. In terms of resistance and cushioning, the Zigtech outsole is not as high as Zig runners, which makes it [...]

While everyone’s getting their ya-yas on the Concords and the Leopards, Reebok’s been releasing some good pairs here and there. After the Pink Elephant Ventilators and HLS Ventilators, here is Pump Omni Lite inspired by graffiti/neo-expressionism artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Reebok’s done a couple of pairs prior to 2011 inspired by Basquiat’s work, but here we [...]

Aside from picking up the Kamikaze IIIs, I also picked up these bringbacks. The Reebok Ventilator is one of Reebok’s classic runners from their storied archive. Back in the late 80s/early 90s, Reebok used to lord it over the competition, even besting the Swoosh and the Three Stripes. This colorway of the Ventilator was released [...]
