Some swear by the Nike Zoom BB series and mentioned that they’re one of the best hoop shoes they’ve played in. A couple of months back they released the Zoom BB 1.5, but in different colorways. Nike Basketball actually released a couple more colorways for the latest version of the Zoom BB. I’m not sure if Tony Parker’s still wearing these as his signature pairs or he’s gone on to wearing the Hyperfuse. Either way, you can try these on. The Nike Zoom BB 1.5 retails for 5,995 php. You can pick them up at Nike stores and retailers such as Planet Sports, Toby’s and a couple other retailers.

If you’ve been a fan of the Kobe signature line the past few years, I expect nothing less from you than to get with the program. By now you’ve seen the Nike Zoom Kobe VII System, where Kobe’s latest shoe comes with two sockliners- Attack Fast and Attack Strong. Whether you want to be quick and explosive or to simply dominate the game, Nike Basketball and Kobe made sure you reigned supreme. Not only does Kobe invite you to the System, but two of his friends are on it as well. Nike skateboarder Paul Rodriguez and comedian Aziz Ansari express their sentiments about the Kobe System. The Nike Zoom Kobe VII System Supreme ‘Concord’ colorway is the second official colorway released for Kobe’s latest signature shoe with the Swoosh. The Leopard/Christmas Day cw dropped on the 26th, while today officially marks the official release of the Kobe VII. Being a Supreme edition of the Kobe VII, the shoe comes with two inserts- Attack Fast with Phylon midsoles and responsive Zoom Air for cushioning- and Attack Strong (which you see here) with the full-length cushlon and the unique ankle cuff for better mobility. Next generation Flywire on the upper completes the silhouette and overall performance of the VII.

The Nike Zoom Kobe VII System Supreme retails for 8,195 php and is available at Nike stores and stockists around the metro such as Titan (Fort and Katipunan). By the time you read this, they’re either gone or missing sizes. Cop these while you can.

Aside from Signature pairs, Nike Basketball drops a new one for the New Year. The Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer, like the LeBron 9, marries Hyperfuse and Flywire for the upper to provide a lightweight hoop shoe. For cushioning, the shoe uses Zoom Air at the forefoot. Two colorways will be available beginning Tuesday, January 3. The Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer retails for 6,995 php.

Start the New Year with a bang with these new LeBrons. Designed by  Miami-based artist Freegums, this LeBron 9 looks a lot like the other colorway (home/Scarface). The LeBron 9 ‘Freegums‘ distinct difference is the colar lining. Freegums’ artwork is seen here, giving the shoe some additional flare. This is a Quickstrike so make sure to troop on to Titan once they open this year. Dropping on January 3, these 9s retail for 8,195 php.

With the season officially underway, you might see these being worn by current scoring champ Kevin Durant or the rest of the OKC Thunder. The New Nike Zoom KD IV starts the season and the new year with two new colorways- one home whites and the other in navy. I’m not sure what inspired this colorway. It’s very Denver Broncos/Chicago Bears-y, but until we get the real deal from Nike, it’s just a great colorway.

Both colorways are now available at Titan and other select Nike retailers nationwide. Shoe still retails for 4,995 php.

Everybody’s been waiting for these to drop. Since early November you were seeing images of the Kobe VII and everyone wanted to see the VIIs Kobe will be wearing for Christmas Day as they face Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls. The Nike Zoom Kobe VII System Supreme gives the user the option to change insoles with regards to the user’s game. Whether you want to Attack Fast (Phylon Midsole + Zoom Air cushioning) or Attack Strong (Cushlon midsole + ankle cuff), the Kobe VII System adapts to your needs.

For the Christmas Day game, Kobe takes a page out of his Predator Pack when he wears the Leopard to the court. The purple/green upper keeps the shoe close to his previous Holiday kicks but the leopard print on the upper sets them apart from the rest. A galloping leopard graphic is seen on the heel to go with the spots and red contrasting laces.

Just in case you needed a closer look at LeBron’s third Christmas Day shoe, here you go. These Christmas red joints looks a lot like last year’s edition, save for the speckled black midsole. The green laces matched with the red upper resembles the Big Gulp/7-Eleven Dunk His, don’t you think? For those who plan to use the 9s post Christmas, the shoe comes with an extra set of red laces.

It’s become a tradition of sorts for hoop heads and sneaker fans to check out what’s on our favorite player’s feet during the NBA’s Christmas Day schedule. With this Christmas being the NBA’s Opening Tip-Off date, special colorways are abundant and worth celebrating. From the Nike Basketball camp, four pairs will be on the spotlight come December 25 (December 26 Manila time).

Kobe Bryant will push the boundaries by wearing a purple and lime green version of the Nike Zoom Kobe VII System (Attack Fast) with special graphics representing the speed of the leopard with red laces. LeBron James goes a bit more traditional with a red upper, white midsole and green lace version of the LEBRON 9. Kevin Durant will wear a metalized-effect version of the Nike Zoom KD IV inspired by copper cookie cutters. And Amar’e will sport a predominantly green version of the Nike Air Max Sweep Thru paying heritage to New York’s Christmas Day uniforms.

With the Black Mamba tearing a ligament and being questionable for Opening Night (though Fish mentioned Kobe’s ready to play on Sunday), we might have to wait a couple more days to see the Kobe VII in action. The shoe, whether the System Supreme (which includes the Attack Fast and Attack Strong insoles) or the System (which only includes the Attack Fast/Zoom Air insole), is on everyone’s wish list heading into the New Year.
