Jordan Brand breaks your bank early on with the first Jordan retro for 2012. The White/Varsity Red-Black colorway of the Air Jordan XIV drops on Tuesday, January 3. MJ rocked the Last Shots back in ’98 on his last tour of duty with the Chicago Bulls. Though he didn’t get to use these on court, team Jordan did. If you picked up the Light Graphite and Last Shots last year, don’t forget to pick these up.

One of the most awaited releases for 2011, the Air Jordan XIs kept heads from buying anything else, including myself. I kept telling people I got the XIs I wanted (the IE Lows), but for some reason, the Concords just kept on calling me. Titan did a phenomenal job with their release and for those who wanted them bad, they gave heads all the possible ways to get a pair. These will definitely go down as one of the best releases of 2011 (best retro for 2011, we’ll have to cross check and evaluate).

Once info leaked that the Concords would be dropping in 2011, everyone marked December 23 at an instant. Titan did a midnight release last year for the Cool Greys. This year, they definitely one upped themselves. First there were the email contests. Then the ninja chip release. Then the facebook trivia. Then the twitter contest. Then the 12:22 contests. Everyone had a shot at copping a pair and securing the iconic Air Jordan XI Retro Concords. While other countries, states and stores fell victim to violence (even the Nike Park BHS release had 5-0 patrolling the place due to a fight and people cutting in line), Titan’s release was peaceful and orderly.

And it wasn’t just about picking your pair up. Nike, Titan and a select few put their collection on display for people to realize and appreciate what the Jordan line meant to our generation. From OG pairs to ultra limited pieces, the Jordan spread was worth the holiday traffic.

To top it all off, Titan also held a 2K12 tournament where 128 hopefuls had a chance at bringing home the bacon. The prize? A PS3, a copy of NBA 2K12, a sick trophy, a year’s worth of haircuts from Titan, and a pair of Retro XIs. Pretty neat, right? In the end, Kitt Mendoza won it all as his Thunder beat our Migs Rocha and his Miami Heat. Migs was able to bounce back and won the Celebrity Challenge later that night against ballers and artists in attendance.

In the end, haters will forever hate. But with the way Titan worked it out, you just have to give props and respect the work they put in. From Team Titan, Nike Philippines, Marc, KC31 and the contributors (Toots, Ali, Doc, and Team LMS). You made them iconic. Happy Holidays!

We’ve all been waiting for them to drop since January. Two days to go. Titan’s given all the possible chances for one to own a pair. Whether it was via email, or the flash green chip release, and the other crazy ways they made it over the past couple of weeks. For those without the TPC chips- you can’t line up for them. Titan’s been really straightforward with their process and should be enough to get the right people in place.

The question I’ve been asked the most would be where else these Concords would drop. It hasn’t been officially confirmed but the only other store that MAY carry them would be Nike Park BHS (but seems like the Nike Park franchise is splitting up their stock amongst their stores). The Air Jordan XI Retro retails for 7,995 php.

Bitter Jazz fans call it “the Push” or “the Shove”. But for the greater majority, it was the “Last Shot”. Air Jordan capped off his career with one shot that sealed the victory for the Bulls en route to their sixth ring in 8 years. That night, Mike rocked the Air Jordan XIV, a shoe that Tinker got inspiration from MJ’s Ferrari. Sexy as hell, these Js drop tomorrow, December 1st.

What’s great about Retros is that you don’t have to talk about the tech. It’s all about the nostalgia and the memories created with the shoe when they first came out. We had the Light Graphite XIVs drop a few weeks ago and some may have passed up on them. This, however, is a totally different story altogether. For true Jordan fans, these go into the must-cop list.

A bit tardy to the party, the third piece of the Air Jordan 1 KO Premium Pack is now available at Titan. I take it the delivery just had this at the back of the container/warehouse as this is part of the 3-piece pack that dropped a few weeks ago. Now done in Dark Cinder/Sail with Varsity Red accents on the tongue and heel, this AJKO is definitely a great shoe for more fancier or dressier events. Premium leather on the upper is reminiscent of the Bin 5s that dropped earlier this year.

As you can see, it’s not all that easy to get a pair of Air Jordan III “Black Cements” on Black Friday. People lined up at stores as early as 2am and almost all the stores had crazy lines before they opened. Some went home happy, some settled for a size or two bigger just to get the coveted “GR” (if people really knew what they were talking about). Some ended up buying from Resellers today just so that they can get a pair.

As much as we would like to have a pair that fits us to a T, we do not live in an ideal world. So let me open the BLACK CEMENT REQUEST LINE. You can check out Nike Talk or other sneaker forums or facebook pages to throw in what you and ask for people for your size. OR DO IT HERE. Right now, here’s what people have asked me help for:

Wow! I’m surprised at all the comments here. Anyways, there are a couple of people that may match based on the info posted here.  Let me break it down so that it’s easier to review and who to contact.

As you can see, you can get creative and do multiple trades. If you are unsuccessful over the next few days, you can always sell them at RETAIL. Let’s all be adults and do this in a more mature manner. After all, it’s just rubber and leather. For those who are looking for pairs, here’s a list as well:

You’ve seen the teaser images the other day. 2 days to go and you’ll be set. The Air Jordan III Retro is back this Friday in the classic Black Cement/Grey-Varsity Red colorway. A must-have for any collection. It doesn’t matter if they are a general release (similar to the White Cements earlier this year). Titan will be dropping the shoe throughout their 3 stores (Fort/RONAC/Katipunan) alongside their Youth sizes. These have the Jumpman logo and Air on the heel (sorry folks, no Nike Air on this one).

We can go on and on that it’s easy to get a pair. For those who got early releases from their “sources”, get with the program and cop the real McCoy. The Air Jordan III Retros retail for 7,495 php while the GS/Youth/Toddler sizes retail from 1,995 php to 4,995 php. Nike Park and Stadium should have them as well (though no official word on which branches will carry them. But you’re bet is as good as mine. Whoever had them during the White Cements or Cool Greys, expect those to have these as well).

Just a couple more days.

Maybe among the best pairs of all time? I said I wasn’t going to be sucked in. I said I’d leave the Js with the others. I said these were an easy pass. But these are IIIs. Black Cement IIIs at that.

But hey, I say a lot of things. Don’t pass up on these. Or regret it.

After yesterday’s release of the AJKOs, here’s another Jordan Retro on everyone’s must-cop list. Jordan Brand, do you really want to send Jordanheads to the poorhouse? The Jordan III “Black Flip” will be available tomorrow, November 14, at Titan FORT. As this is a Quickstrike release, only 1 pair per customer so that everyone gets theirs.

The “Flip” was done a few years back to the III but with a white/cement base. This one uses black leather and the elephant print done on the upper rather than on the toe and heel caps. Although purists and OG fans may gawk at this, we have to give credit where credit is due- it’s a good looking shoe. Black Cements drop on the 25th, but these drop tomorrow.
