You can pick up the adidas Ultraboost 2.0 ‘City Pack’ today
We need to sit down with adidas.
While the PH has properly transitioned on to the Ultraboost 19, there are still purists who enjoy the old silhouette that still features the TPU cage and heel.
But why the Ultraboost 2.0?
Why couldn’t it be the 1.5 (which is really the 1.0 with the Continental outsole)? I understand that the 3.0 and 4.0 were leaning too much on to the lifestyle side but why the 2.0? I’m guessing the Primeknit pattern was the easiest to manipulate, especially when it comes to sublimation or even creating proper color blocking. If you’ve been following your favorite retailers, you would’ve seen the City Pack drop over at Sole Academy. Highlighting 3 key cities in Asia — Shanghai, Seoul and Tokyo — the UB 2.0 features special detailing on the tongue, heel pulls, and the color blocking. As this is an August 1st release, it was actually accompanied by two more key cities — New York and Paris.
All five pairs are now available in the PH and retails for Php 8,900. You can drop by Sole Academy (UPTC/BGC) and select adidas PH stores for the City Pack.
