We’re Getting the BAPE x adidas Snowboarding Collection

Posted on Nov 10, 2018 in Adidas

Okay.

Today, Commonwealth is set to release the adidas Consortium by BAPE Snowboarding Collection. This season’s capsule collection features the 3ST.002, a modified skate shoe meant for snowboarding, and a full range of apparel meant for the winter sport. The new boots for snowboarding uses a nubuck upper and socket slip-on with its LINE Aurora 1st CAMO allover reflective print. The Slopetrotter Pant, Tech Hoodie and Snow Jacket all feature the same elements as the 3ST.002 in terms of design. The Snow Jacket utilizes Climalite 10k/10k waterproof materials with DWR coating, making it handy when you go on your next ski or snowboarding trip this holiday season. The Pullover Tech Hoodie is made with a moisture-wicking textile with fleece lining. Both the BAPE and adidas logo are found on the chest to go along with the Three Stripes running down the sleeves. Lastly, the Slopetrotter Pants use a Climalite 5k/5k breathable shell with DWR coating. The iridescent material runs throughout the pant as well

I’m on the fence with these. For one, I’m happy that adidas Consortium and Commonwealth is giving us access to their products. On the other hand, does it make sense to pick these up with our tropical weather? I sure hope we don’t see anyone rocking these around the metro in this weather. The BAPE x adidas Snowboarding collection drops today exclusively at Commonwealth’s Rockwell location.
