The Weekend Rundown: Basketball Releases

Posted on Mar 24, 2019 in Adidas

It may seem that the focus of the past week was on the adidas Running x Game of Thrones UltraBoost collection, but there were a bunch of other releases, particularly in basketball. It’s a no-brainer for brands to bring in basketball products every weekend as the sport is the most popular in the country. Here’s a quick rundown of what released in the past week:

Nike KYRIE 5 ‘White/Black’

While Kyrie celebrated his birthday this past week, Nike Basketball released another colorway for his fifth signature shoe, the KYRIE 5. Decked out in a light grey engineered mesh upper with a black speckled sole unit, the new sneaker looks like an inverse version of the Black Magic colorway. Get yours today across all Titan doors. The KYRIE 5 retails for Php 6,295.

adidas N3XT L3V3L ‘March Madness’

March Madness is in full swing as the remaining teams play tomorrow for the final slots for the Sweet 16. While you have seen various teams rock their special gear, adidas takes it to the next level (pun intended) with the release of a special ‘March Madness’ colorway for the N3XT L3V3L. The laceless shoe from adidas now comes in a graphic-infused LightStrike midsole to contrast the black-heavy Primeknit upper. For those looking for a shoe with some serious lockdown, this might be it. The adidas N3XT L3V3L ‘March Madness’ is now available at select Titan doors for Php 9,000.

Under Armour Curry 6 ‘Splash Party’

To celebrate Steph Curry’s 31st birthday, Under Armour released the ‘Splash Party’ colorway for the Curry 6. UA wanted to bring the championship celebration into the Curry 6, with the blue and white knit upper and the pink accents representing the confetti raining down the streets of Oakland every June. The Under Armour Curry 6 ‘Splash Party’ retails for Php 7,995, now available at select Titan stores and underarmour.com.ph

Jordan Proto React

After releasing three colorways of the React-laced Proto React, Jordan Brand brings out three more colorways this weekend. Sure, the Proto React isn’t really a performance sneaker, but the shoe definitely exudes that basketball style that Jordan Brand has turned into a norm. The Proto React now comes in Triple White, Club Gold and Gym Red. The lifestyle sneaker retails for Php 7,645 and is now available at select Titan stores and titan22.com
