The adidas Crazy Explosive 2017 Primeknit now comes in Black

It was a great time growing up in the 80s/90s, sneaker-wise (or we can just say it was a great time, period). It’s been called the golden age of sneakers, where all the brands had something to show for, from crazy kicks, innovative technologies and a solid roster of signature athletes. Over the last few years, it’s no question that Nike and Jordan Brand have captured the basketball market, while adidas has focused their efforts on running, football and lifestyle. But that doesn’t mean the Brand with the Three Stripes conceded the category. Since hiring several key designers from across the river, adidas is slowly building their way back to basketball prominence. Signing notable athletes (James Harden, Damian Lillard, Joel Embiid, etc) is one thing, but having quality products is definitely a step into the right direction. One product that has converted Nike faithfuls to adidas is the Crazy Explosive 2017 Primeknit.

The Crazy Explosive 2017 PK is the second iteration of the franchise. Version 1 definitely turned heads and got people intrigued. This past year’s edition converted them and got them thinking that adidas Basketball has a fighting chance against the Swoosh and Jumpman. If you go through all the colorways that dropped, this has got to be one of the better sneakers for the 2017-18 season. Just recently, they dropped a Blacked out version of the shoe that’s sure to get a couple more people with adidas. More than anything, the Crazy Explosive 2017 PK is a reminder to everyone that adidas is definitely doing something right for the category.
