Finally! Someone had the answer I cannot provide. Good friend in the biz Raoul mentioned that the special makeups for the Adidas TS Bounce Commander and Lightning Creators are collabs from Rahn Johnson, artist and associate of Gabriel Urist. The TS Lightning Creators are paired up to be the Yin (rain/clouds) and Yang (sun). The snakeskin present on both pairs represent the Chinese Zodiac. Adidas colllabs have been running on both their Originals and Performance pairs.
I’ve mentioned before of adidas’ collabs with UNDRCRWN and the whole adidas remix collection. This would definitely fall under that bag with the performance pairs with a twist.
Now it makes sense. The RJ doesn’t stand for a player exclusive but an artist collab. Now we can rest and start the week right.
