SOON: Kasina x adidas Terrex Free Hiker

Posted on Feb 27, 2020 in Adidas

As early as 2018 (maybe even earlier), adidas introduced us to adidas Terrex, a sub-brand under the Three Stripes, specializing in hiking silhouettes for the elements. We’ve seen END, Livestock, and White Mountaineering work with the brand to create special hybrids for their winter collections. As we embrace 2020, Korea’s Kasina is the latest to hop on the Terrex bandwagon, this time unveiling a crisp, white, Terrex Free Hiker into the fray.

If you’ve been keen on the trend, trail/hiking/outdoor silhouettes have been the play thing across our favorite brands. Fusing the purposeful designs with street elements, trail/hiking silhouettes such as the Terrex Free Hiker fits right in. The all-white high top comes in a flexible and breathable Primeknit upper, with fused seams, a rugged toe cap and rubber midfoot roll bar. The lacing system is similar to other silhouettes we’ve seen from adidas before, but goes around the collar to the heel, for a more secure fit. Kasina definitely added their touch with their non-descript logo by the heel pulls, making this another silhouette that checks all the boxes.

Like other pairs from the range, the Terrex Free Hiker comes equpped with a full-length BOOST midsole for superior comfort. The rugged Continental outsole provides amazing traction, keeping the shoe grounded and secure whether you’re in the elements or about to hit high altitudes.

Commonwealth is slated to drop the shoe sometime soon, as this is part of adidas’ Consortium offering. Keep it locked here for more information on the release and price info.
