Do you guys remember Tracy McGrady? Vince Carter’s cousin? Yeah, he was one of adidas’ endorsers back in the day when he got drafted out of high school back in ’97. T-Mac wasn’t really a superstar coming out up until he moved Orlando and became the man. adidas milked that cow and released T-Macs left and right (his signature pairs are definitely better than Kobes, at least back in the day).
Now this shoe is not quite the TMac 2 but a takedown of the shoe. You can see the stripes from the middle panel moving on to the toe box, the 2′s signature look when it came out the first time around. Dubbed as the Return of the Mac, this shoe retails for 3,795 php and is available in two colorways. Similar to other adidas takedowns, I’m not a fan of the midsole/outsole on these. It seems like they chopped off the soles, making the shoe look a little bit awkward. Don’t worry, the shoe’s still got some cushioning. You can pick these up now at adidas stores today.
