PICK-UP: adidas CONSORTIUM ZX 500 OG

With adidas Consortium accounts few and far between, it gets a little tricky to get some coveted pairs. Since the reboot of the adidas Consortium line, I’ve been on the ZX 500 tip as it is a running silhouette. From the Tabula Rasa to the Your Story 1 (Quote) to the Your Story 2 (Shaniqwa Jarvis) and to this– the OG– words cannot express how much I love the line.
As LE surprisingly didn’t carry my size, I had to find the shoe elsewhere. I went online and found them (at an affordable price) at Crooked Tongues. A couple of colleagues were in London for the Summer Olympics and were supposed to bring them home. Unfortunately, CT doesn’t deliver to hotels and PO Boxes, thus I had to ship the shoe (free shipping btw) to the US and had my sister lug it home for me.
These arrived at her doorstep one day…

Buttery soft suede, high quality mesh and the original silhouette done right. Would other heads pause for a minute and appreciate such a superb pair? Thanks to my sister for bringing them home (and taking the CT box photos) and thanks to Crooked Tongues for helping me secure this one. 4 of 4. What’s next?
