NEXT: adidas Consortium UltraBOOST 19 ‘ZX 9000’

Posted on May 20, 2019 in Adidas

After debuting the all-new UltraBOOST silhouette, the UltraBOOST 19 last February, seems like adidas Consortium is ready to kick off a new set for the UltraBOOST Collective. adidas Consortium goes through its running archives and pulls out three iconic silhouettes that also featured the brand’s Torsion system.

To keep things interesting, adidas Consortium is releasing a colorway exclusive per region (pretty much like how adidas did it for the recent Yeezy 350 V2s). The Euro-exclusive took inspiration from the EQT line, with its white, grey and sub green color blocking. The US-exclusive comes in dark blue and gold, which takes its design from the SL 80.

For the Asia-exclusive release, the UltraBoost 19 takes design cues from the ZX 9000. The UltraBoost 19 features hits of teal and blue throughout the shoe’s Primeknit upper. The two-tone Three Stripes is also a reference to the ZX styles from the early 90s. Just like the previous Consortium releases, the UltraBoost 19 continues to celebrate the Torsion system designed by Jacques Chassaing.

The adidas Consortium UltraBOOST 19 ‘ZX 9000’ drops today, May 20th, along with the two other colorways across the adidas Consortium retail network. Commonwealth is releasing the shoe today at their Rockwell location. The adidas Consortium UltraBOOST 19 retails for Php 12,000.
