ICYMI: Packer x adidas Consortium ZX Torsion ‘Mega Violet’

After featuring the Foot Patrol x adidas Consortium release about a week ago, Commonwealth continues to bring the good stuff in, this time with the recent collaboration between New Jersey’s Packer Shoes.

After releasing the ZX 9000 ‘Meadow Violet’, Packer Shoes follows the story as it explores the extremes of what can happen when conditions push things too far. The Meadow Violet thrives amidst the extreme conditions, but the ‘Mega Violet’ pushes it furthere, showing the flower’s transformation nature’s beauty to a corrupted byproduct of its environment.

Unlike the first shoe of the pack, the dark, muddy tones of the ZX Torsion gives a totally different look to the flower-inspired sneaker. The shoe utilizes premium pigskin and hairy suede contrasted by black nubuck and a plum-colored mesh underlay. The translucent outsole panels, nubuck lace dubraes and modified heel pull tab all add to the shoe’s overall look. The Boost-laden shoe is finished off with the co-branded tongue loops and graphic printed insoles.
