ICYMI: adidas just dropped the ALPHAEDGE 4D Parley in time for Run for the Oceans 2019

For today’s ICYMI, we take a look at the adidas ALPHAEDGE 4D Parley for the Oceans. The shoe actually dropped last Saturday, June 8th, at the adidas Home Court store at Two Parkade (BGC) and adidas.com.ph (I believe there’s still a 3.5UK available online). While the shoe may be sold out already, it’s actually the best opportunity to talk about their partner, Parley for the Oceans.

Over the last few years, adidas has partnered with Parley for the Oceans to help push the advocacy of saving our planet by eliminating/reducing pollution from the oceans. Through this partnership, adidas has created footwear and apparel using upcycled materials, thus reducing their carbon footprint and ocean waste/plastic. Throughout this week, you can download the Runtastic app and join the Run for the Oceans Challenge. Each km run turns into a $1 donation as they’re focused on donating $1.5M USD after this week. We’ve seen several solid silhouettes from the collection and this is the first time we’re getting a wider release for a 4D product using Parley’s ocean plastic. Aside from the 4Ds, we’re also getting the Alphabounce+ and AlphaBoost silhouettes to go with the rest of their apparel and accessories.
