Help Save the Oceans with adidas Originals and Parley

It’s been a crazy month of March and just as we are about to wind down, adidas pulls this rabbit out of their proverbial hat — the Parley x adidas NMD_CS1. Continuing their commitment on reducing ocean pollution and thus contributing to the ongoing mission to save the turtles, adidas Originals joins forces with Parley for the Oceans for this sick NMD_CS1.

Going back to the City Sock’s original design, the one-piece Primeknit upper is made using Parley Ocean Plastic yarn, recycled plastic waste that was intercepted from beaches and coastal communities before it hit the ocean. The shoe feature’s Parley’s colors with black stripes, with a branded woven heel pull. The shoe then sits on top of the NMD Boost with white plugs for that clean, lowkey look.

adidas has been working with Parley the last few years, sharing common values in authenticity, originality and creativity. Although most of us enjoy the “collab” or the by-product of the partnership, the two have come up with conversations, comprehensive strategies to effect change in their respective communities. The Parley x adidas NMD_CS1 drops on March 31*, and will be available at the adidas Originals Neighborhood store at Uptown and adidas PH online.
