Great Finds and Great Steals in SG

I love bargains. For any sneakerhead, getting a great deal on some DS kicks are always great. One of the best deals I ever get through the bargain bin was a pair of Pro-Keds State Property series and got them for only 11 bucks. Doesn’t that make anyone smile? Getting pairs 60, 70, 80% off the original price always makes my day.

Singapore’s at the tail end of their Great Singapore Sale and my bro was at the right place at the right time. On a rainy Sunday afternoon, he decided to drop by the adidas Factory store by Novena and saw these gems. These are Concord High OGs with the snakeskin pattern. A bit out there, right? But it’s also a steal!

The original price was about S$175 and my bro got it for S$60. Not bad right? I didn’t even think twice and told him to get it. For anything less than two Gs, that’s always a steal. The original shoe came out in 83, and has been rehashed a couple of times since. This shoe along with a white/silver colorway commemorates the Concord’s 25th anniversary. The only thing I don’t like about the Concords are the D-loops for the laces. If you pull too hard, they might give and essentially ruin your shoe. As for the whole hi-top look and the snakeskin- Fresh!
