I’ve always wondered, how do female ballers get by? I mean, wherever you go, hoop shoes for women are few and far between. I do remember Rebecca Lobo and Sheryl Swoopes had their own signature lines or special pairs to use when they were ballin’. It would be a rarity to see their kicks around town. Most of my female hoopster friends would usually buy their kicks overseas as it was as hard as finding a needle in a haystack to find hoop shoes for women.

Hopefully, those days are over. Titan, your friendly neighborhood Barbershop + Basketball store dropped the adidas Ace Commander. The Ace Commander ofcourse is the signature shoe of former Rookie of the Year and current LA Sparks player Candace Parker. The former Collegiate Player of the Year and wife to Celtic Shelden Williams has her own signature shoe and is now available at Titan for 4,895 php. Heck, how would Shelden feel? His wife’s a champ and has her own shoe deal. Sucks to be Mr. Williams.

Now local basketball goddesses can now own the adidas Ace Commander and not make do with men’s hoop shoes.  This colorway’s pretty neat, even with the sparks  on the upper. The patent leather on the toe box and around the upper makes it awfully look like a pair from Jordan brand a few months back (Jordan 16.5 or One6One7 perhaps?) Question is, who’s got a better adidas signature shoe? Candace Parker or Dwight Howard?
