Final Frontier: adidas presents us with the ZX 0000 ‘Evolution’

And just like that, the series is done. From what started back in August 2020, the adidas Originals A-ZX for 2020/21 is now out. To close out the series, adidas took a look at their archives and rediscovered a never-before-seen silhouette, which is what you see here — the ZX 0000. As the ZX line faded into the background in the early 90s to give the EQT a shine, this shoe connects the two lines from adidas. Today, to reflect the brand’s evolution, the ZX 0000 seems like a fitting close to the set.

While the shoe looks pretty basic with its white mesh upper and cream synthetic suede overlays, this what makes this shoe even more special. With bright blue and pink accents found the throughout, the ZX 0000 gives us comfort and stability, with Torsion and the TPU heel clip we’ve seen on countless pairs we’ve grown to love through the decades.
