adidas reimagines sport for their latest SS20 collection
This is how you start 2020.
Let’s reimagine sport. Let’s break the stereotypes and celebrate movement of all kinds. adidas’ belief is that sport has evolved and clearly seen through the new Spring/Summer 20 collection. The new collection cuts across both performance and streetwear, with each piece created to inspire the athlete in all women. From high-performance tights to statement tracksuits, the new collection is sure to appeal to every woman.
adidas launched the campaign with several notable personalities from all walks of life. Be it body positive models to world champion athletes, the global campaign features them all – Jessamyn Stanley, Mikaela Shiffrin, Mae Yoshikawa, Denise Schindler, Chinae Alexander, Nadya Okamoto, and Jada Sezer. On the local front, adidas PH tapped Nikki Torres, Michele Gumabao, Rona Tai, Say Tioco, Sam Corrales and a host of others for the Reimagine Sport campaign. Through this campaign, each woman communicates her own definition of sport and the role it plays in their lives.
It’s becoming a trend for brands such as adidas to enable everyone with their inclusive sizing, including the brand’s next generation bra and tights.
The new Ultimate Bra, designed to deliver high support for all types of sport; available in A-G cups in Europe and up to a H in the US, with underband sizes US/UK 30-48 [local sizes may vary]. Another new item is the ‘Believe This 2.0’ Tight, designed to provide support and shaping with a new waistband design for a more secure fit. The sizes run from 2XS to 4X.
The latest adidas SS20 collection is now available at adidas stores and adidas.com/reimagine_sport with additional pieces launching over the next few months. Check out the local athletes in the new collection below.
