With the weekend upon us, it’s time to either get really lazy and stay home all day or go out and get your fitness on. We rarely feature other performance shoes outside of basketball and running, but I do have a soft spot for football, as that was the first sport I ever played and competed in.

adidas, being a company based in Germany, you’d really expect their expertise in the kick game. The Predator line’s been one of the best, if not the best, from the Three Stripes. Here we have the latest version, the adidas Predator Absolion LZ TRX FG boot. Using a lightweight synthetic upper, these soccer cleats with predator® technology in the forefoot are the controlling element on firm ground pitches.

With five ‘lethal’ zones with the predator tech, you have a better chance at controlling the ball with every touch. For better comfort and cushioning, adidas laced the heel with nubuck-touch lining. The boot is also miCoach compatible, thus you can track your performance while playing the game or training for it. As it is a shoe for firm ground, adidas used its TRAXION 2.0 FG stud configuration for maximum grip and acceleration.
