adidas Originals teams up with Have A Good Time this October

Light-hearted and carefree. This season, adidas Originals and Tokyo’s Have A Good Time got together for their latest capsule collection. Have A Good Time’s been known for promoting Tokyo’s amazing street art and culture. Have A Good Time’s logo is done in a basic sans serif logo encased in a red frame. This has been the brand’s trademark as seen throughout their creations and collaborations. adidas Originals utilized HAGT’s signature logo across the Samba, Trefoil tee and their Reversible Track Suits. For the track suits, one side uses the woven nylon/polyester blend in classic black/white while the reverse uses an allover print of HAGT’s logo.

A cool detail you might overlook is the co-branded logo of HAGT and adidas Originals. On the allover print reverse side of the Track Top, the co-branded logo is found on the left chest in the midst of the print. A huge Trefoil logo is printed on the back for contrast. Both the Trefoil and HAGT logo are found on the right and left thigh of the Track Pants. For the Trefoil tee, the HAGT allover print is encapsulated by the Treofil, with HAGT’s logo printed on the back.

Our favorite piece from the collection is the Samba. adidas and HAGT used high grade kangaroo leather for its upper instead of the traditional full grain leather. Its contrasted by the suede t-toe overlay, white 3 Stripes and gold foil Samba stamp on the side. The allover print is found on the shoe’s leather lining, coupled with the HAGT logo on the shoe’s enlarged tongue.

The adidas Originals x Have A Good Time collection drops this Thursday, 25 October. The collection will be available via adidas PH online and homme et femme (Shangri-la).
