adidas Originals releases a new NMD Racer this May

After a relatively quiet weekend, adidas Originals is back on the saddle at the start of May with several solid releases. We’ve seen several NMDs over its 3-year existence but this is the first year that they released the NMD Racer. The NMD Racer first dropped last January, with some very bright accents to go with the all black upper. This May, we’re getting an all-white version of the sneaker with black stripes found throughout the upper  and a speckled design around the collar. What got my attention is the leather heel counter and the Whitaker Car Club pull tab. These two details are definitely a nod to car/racing culture, making the shoe a great complement.

The adidas NMD Racer “Monaco” is now available at Sole Academy (BGC) for Php 10,000. The store if offering the shoe on a first come, first serve basis.
