adidas Originals and AriZona Iced Tea Drop 2

Earlier this summer, adidas Originals and AriZona Iced Tea caused a ruckus in NYC when they did a pop-up release (that was eventually shut down) for their collaborative effort. Just like their classic Iced Tea flavors, they sold the pairs for just 99 cents (approx 50 php!!?), thus causing mobs and droves of people flock the AriZona stand that day.

While that won’t be happening anytime soon, the two work together for another drop for men’s and women’s silhouettes, this time using the Continental Vulc and Adilette. The new collection features 10 pairs but we’re not quite sure how many pairs we’re getting locally. What we’re sure of is that we’re getting the Green Tea w/Ginseng and Honey applied to the black/turquois version of the Continental Vulc. The shoe is done in nubuck with embroidered canvas panels. Each Continental Vulc model features co-branded details on the tongue and heel tab, as well as four sets of laces with metallic tips. Unlike the classic Continental 80, the shoe uses a vulc rubber cupsole to go with the special edition packaging.

Also available in the collection is the adilette, with each colorway paying homage to the brand’s classic flavors. Each slide features graphics inspired by AriZona’s branding and woven co-branded logo on the sockliner.
