A Harden Vol.2 inspired by James’ early basketball days

Posted on Mar 9, 2018 in Adidas

With the Rockets winning 17 straight, is this the year James Harden wins the MVP trophy? Growing up, Harden worked his butt off every day, outside the house, shooting from the driveway, and dribbling on the hard concrete. adidas Basketball and Harden took that childhood memory to be the inspiration for the latest colorway of the Harden Vol.2.

“I would always go out there and just shoot. That’s what I did. That was my job,” Harden explained to ESPN. “I would be out there till 1:30, 2:00 in the morning just shooting, just playing.”

Done in varying shades of grey, the Harden Vol.2 “Concrete” is one of the cleaner colorways of Harden’s 2nd signature shoe with adidas. With grey being very neutral, a tinge of bright, lime green can be found on the pull tab, heel logo and insole for that accent. The adidas Harden Vol.2 “Concrete” drops tomorrow, March 10th, at Titan, NBA Store, the Athlete’s Foot and select adidas Home Court stores around the metro. The shoe retails for Php 7,500.
