I featured the Adidas Equation a few weeks back (maybe months, even) and was amused with the concept of having just one shoe that can either be a high or a low top. The Equation blends lifestyle trends with performance benefits to create off-the-court options. The shoe comes in a couple of colorways, but only black is available locally. There is a special edition that was (and maybe still) available at Urban Athletics. The shoe has a removable collar, allowing the footwear to convert from hi-top to low-cut demonstrating the full customization possible with this off-court product.
It is a footwear based on style and choice told personally through three of the NBA’s top statement makers, Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose and Kevin Garnett. The Equation is all about sneaker love and how each baller makes his personal statement and style.
