IT’S BACK: adidas Continental 80
If you’re a fan of the retro sneaker, this might be right up your alley. After releasing the Powerphase earlier this year, adidas Originals brings back its lesser known cousin from the archives — the Continental 80. Originally released in the late 80s, the classic casual shoe is made from a soft premium leather with perforations on the toebox and side panels as it sits atop a double cupsole construction.
A two-tone stripe is found beneath the adidas Originals trefoil window panel right below the laces. To keep things as close to the original article, the shoe is finished with terry cloth lining. The Continental 80 will be available in three colorways – Footwear White, Core Black, and White Tint.
If you’re looking to pick this clean, casual sneaker, head on over to Commonwealth, Sole Academy, Sneak Peek, Capital, urban Athletics and any of the adidas Originals Neighborhood stores tomorrow, June 21st.
