I was on my way to a dinner at Greenbelt 5 and decided to drop by Hideout. Boxes and sneakers were scattered all over the place. I thought they were closing shop for the New Year. But what welcomed me was a stack of boxes and sneakers that again, I thought, would never reach our shores. Hideout’s been dropping all sorts of ish the past few weeks. This is Adidas’ 3rd release in two weeks. This is Adidas x Ransom.
Adidas got together with Canadian Retail brand Ransom for a collection that vaguely resembles any piece the brand with three stripes has ever released. The Never Ending Path Pack is inspired by the Great Outdoors and is definitely perfect for the lovely weather we’ve been having. From Boots to low tops, the collection borrows various classic silhouettes while putting their own twist and flavor to it.
From full grain leathers, suedes, canvas and other high grade materials, these pairs are wearable now and the coming years– something we all could use especially living through these trying times. One thing you may notice here is one glaring omission — no three stripes, no trefoil, nothing. With the pairs more toned down, the whole pack can be considered an everydayer collection. Each and every pair can be worn everyday with whatever you wish to wear it with.
The shoes range from 4995 to 9995. Not bad, especially when you pay for a shoe with great quality and exclusivity. In terms of detail, the Ransom logo can be seen at the heel and a special Ransom x Adidas logo is place on the tongue. There’s also a zig zag stitch by the laces that can be seen on most, if not all pairs. Each pair also comes with three sets of laces.

The next one is my personal favorite. The Valley is pretty cool. With the shoe having nice black leather, this can definitely pair up against the Air Royal Mid QS. So take your pick. I’m going to the Valley.

dope!
