Saturday: United Arrows & Sons x adidas Originals NMD Pack

After releasing the White Mountaineering Superstars earlier this week, adidas Originals brings out their latest collaboration with another Japanese-based label. If you’ve been to Japan, one of the better curated boutiques would be the group behind United Arrows. Having done a pair for the Sneaker Exchange program last year, the two brands got together again, this time putting out a capsule collection, taking inspiration from the brand’s rich archive, using classic pieces and updating the look for 2018.

UA & Sons take two of the more recent NMD silhouettes — the R2 and the CS2 — for this early 2018 collection. Both pairs use a grey/navy mix on their uppers. The R2 features the co-branded logo on the tongue, with light grey uppers contrasted by the navy laces, tongue and heel patch. What you may not see here would be the Three Stripes, which can be seen at the right angle or flash. The CS2 uses a marbled Primeknit upper while contrasted by the ankle collar. Both the NMD R2 and CS2 will retail for Php 11,000 and will be available this Saturday, January 20, at the adidas Originals Neighborhood Stores (Uptown/Vertis) and the adidas PH online store (shop.adidas.com.ph). The accompanying apparel will also be available at the same doors.
