Release Reminder: adidas NMD_R1 PK ‘Mint Marble’

Has the NMD run its course? Could there be room for the silhoutte to live on? With recent releases such as the NMD_TS1 and the Monotone R1s, seems like they caught their second wind.  One thing that adidas Originals hasn’t maximized was the use of sublimated patterns on the Primeknit upper. We’ve seen them do it on the ZX Flux and the Nice Kicks NMD before and we’re now getting a marble-died pattern for the NMD_R1 Primeknit.

Not only does the marbled pattern run across the entire upper, you’ll also notice one glaring omission — the Three Stripes. The adidas branding is seen on the heel and forefoot stabilizers but this is a case of less is more. The adidas NMD_R1 Primeknit “Mint Marble” drops tomorrow, July 27th, at all Sole Academy doors with the pair retailing for Php 10,000.
